Hi there! We are the Kalila Events Team. ☺

 

We are the planning & coordinating team for

JUDE and TEL's wedding on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

​​

We’ve created this presentation to walk you through the wedding day events and provide an advance briefing for those with specific roles and responsibilities.

​

THE WEDDING CEREMONY

The processional march will start at exactly 2:00 PM

​

We would like to request that you be at Christ the King Parish Church, Green Meadows Ave, Quezon City at 1:45 PM for a proper briefing.

​

Kindly approach any of our coordinating team upon your arrival.

 

They are wearing name tags for easy identification.

​A GUIDE FOR FEMALE ENTOURAGE

When you arrive, we will hand your bouquet to you.

Please bring them when our team gathers you for the processional march and during the post-ceremony pictorial at the altar.

 

To guide you on how to hold your bouquet properly, kindly have the flower's stem with both hands, then rest your hands on the belly button, as shown in the photo.

 

We hope you will not mind, but we might hold your hand to guide you if you have it too high or low.

PROCESSIONAL MARCH AND SEATING ARRANGEMENT

Our team will gather and line up the entourage members for the processional march. We’ll personally cue your walk. ☺

​

We’ve created a diagram to show the direction of your walk and where you’ll be seated.

​

All the ladies, except for the bride's father, will be seated on the pews to the left. All the gentlemen, except the groom's mother, will be seated on the right.

​

Please note that the diagram is just a visual reference. On the wedding day, our team will be there to assist you when you reach the first row nearest the altar and guide you from there.

TO THE PRINCIPAL SPONSORS...

After the lighting of the secondary candles, the Principal Sponsors and Parents will be called to stand or go near the couple to witness the exchange of vows. Don't worry! Our team will cue and assist you when this part is up. After the couple exchanges their vows, the Officiant will ask you to be seated or return to your seats.

 

Our team will route the marriage certificate to the Principal Sponsors for signing when the wedding ceremony is done. You may affix your signature above your name. Please note that the marriage certificate is triplicate, so kindly sign all three copies.

 

If you are a proxy, kindly sign above the name you are standing in for.

 

Lastly, we would call the Principal Sponsors to join the couples' photos at the altar. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team members can quickly cue you when it's your turn.

 

Ladies, please remember to bring your bouquet when going up to the altar for photos. Thank you! ☺

TO THE BEST MAN...

You will be the safe keeper of the wedding rings. When you get to the church, our coordinating team will hand the wedding rings to you.

 

During the marriage rights, the Bearer will be called to bring the symbols of marriage to the altar. Kindly guide and assist the Bearer and hand the real rings to the Sacristan or the Officiating Priest.

 

After the wedding, you will be called to join the couple for pictures. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

TO THE MAID OF HONOR...

May we request that you fix the bride's train when the bride sits, stands, or kneels so it would be nice in photos. We would be more than happy to do this, but some churches or Priests do not want us to move around because they find it disruptive to the mass but do not mind the Maid of Honor doing this.

 

After the wedding, you will be called to join the couple for pictures. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

A special request to the Best Man and Maid of Honor. If the couple says their vows, and the Priests and Sacristan forget to hold the microphone, may we politely ask you to hold it for them instead? We would be more than happy to do this; however, I am sure the couple would prefer to have you by their side during and in the photos and videos.

TO THE CANDLE SPONSORS...

After the Homily, the commentator will call the candle sponsors. The Female Candle Sponsor must light the candle on the bride's left side, while the Male Candle Sponsor must light the candle on the groom's right side.

 

Kindly wait for your partner so you may go up to the altar together.

 

Please relight the candle if the fire extinguishes at any point during the wedding ceremony. Once the couple has been pronounced husband and wife, you may return the lighters to any of our team members.

 

After the wedding, you will be called to join the couple for pictures. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

TO THE VEIL SPONSORS...

After the Prayers of the Faithful, the veil sponsors will be called by the commentator to place the veil on the couple.

 

You may refer to the photo as a reference.

 

The female veil sponsor should go to the bride's left side to pin the veil over her head and on her left shoulder, while the male veil sponsor should proceed to the groom's right side to pin the veil on his right shoulder.

 

After pinning the veil on the couple, you may return to your seat.

 

Please wait for your partner before going to the couple so you can walk together.

 

Following the communion rites, you will be called again after the cord sponsors to remove the veil. Kindly endorse the veil to any of our coordinating team after the ceremony.

 

After the wedding, you will be called to join the couple for pictures. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

TO THE CORD SPONSORS...

The cord sponsors will be called after the veil sponsors finish putting the veil on the couple. Please be on standby when the veil sponsors are called.

 

You may refer to the photo as a reference.

 

The female cord sponsor should go to the bride's left side, while the male sponsor should be on the groom's right side. You may put the cord over the head of the couple with the edge landing on their shoulder. If the cord's loop is uneven, the longer loop should be put on the bride's side.

 

You may go back to your seats after you have fulfilled your task.

 

Please wait for your partner before going to the couple so you can walk together.

 

You will be called again after the communion to remove the cord. Kindly endorse the veil to any of our coordinating team after the ceremony.

 

After the wedding, you will be called to join the couple for pictures. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

TO THE GROOMSMEN AND BRIDESMAIDS

You are special to the couple, and when some offertory participants cannot be located, we hope you do not mind that we ask you to stand on their behalf. We know that the couple would appreciate seeing you in the photos and videos rather than getting a random guest to offer.

 

After the wedding, you will be called to join the couple for pictures. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

TO THE BEARERS AND
FLOWER GIRLS

The ring bearers will carry the symbols of marriage. During the marriage rites, the Best Man will assist them to the altar to hand over the symbols to the Officiating Priest or Sacristan.

 

Also, the flower girls and bearers will walk down the aisle together with the rest of the entourage.

 

At one point, your children may feel anxious to be greeted by many unfamiliar faces. Please be ready to walk with them if they get uncomfortable walking alone. ☺

 

Their comfort is our number one priority. After they walk down the aisle, please do not leave or change clothes just yet because you will be called to join the couple for pictures after the wedding. Please refrain from leaving your seat so our team can easily cue you when it's your turn. Thank you! ☺

SEND OFF...

After the pictorials, may we ask our dear entourage members to kindly proceed outside the church entrance for the recessional and welcome the couple for the first time as husband and wife.

 

Thank you, and in advance, we would like to thank you for extending assistance to the couple and for your cooperation. ☺

OH! AND ONE MORE THING...

May we request the Best Man, Maid of Honor, Secondary Sponsors, Groomsmen, and Bridesmaids to please stay for post-ceremony photos. Thank you. ☺
